MUVA – Museum für Urban Art und Vandalismus ist das erste Museum für zeitgenössische urbane Kunst in der Schweiz. Das MUVA wird als Start-Up bis zum Herbst 2023 in goldenen Monolithen zu Gast sein.

Während dieser Zeit wird die von Werne Feller, Gen Atem und Claudia Brander gegründete «ARGE Startup MUVA» eine Standortevaluierung durchzuführen, um einen geeigneten Ort für das MUVA zu finden.

MUVA – Museum for Urban Art and Vandalism is the first museum for contemporary urban art in Switzerland. The MUVA will be a guest in golden monoliths as a start-up until autumn 2023. During this time, the “ARGE Startup MUVA”, founded by Werne Feller, Gen Atem and Claudia Brander, will carry out a location evaluation in order to find a suitable location for the MUVA.

Was wäre heute das Attisholz-Areal ohne die Bespielung durch die Kunstschaffenden, ohne den mutigen Entscheid der Öffnung seitens der Eigentümerin, ohne die breite Unterstützung zur Förderung dieser Kulturprozesse?
Ab 2025 wird das Attisholz-Areal umgebaut und es entsteht Wohnraum. – Aus diesem Grund haben wir die gesamte Entwicklung der Kunsttransformation seit 2016 würdevoll zusammengetragen, und zeigen sie als Dauerausstellung einem grossen Publikum.

Aus der Haut schlüpfen - häuten - wenn sie nicht mehr passt, das können viele Tiere. Klimabedingt? Schönheitswegen?
Methamorphose - Es spielt keine Rolle. Wir werden es früher oder später auch können. Die Verwandlung - das ewige Leben - das anzustrebende Ziel.

Many animals can slip out of their skin - shed their skin - when it no longer fits. Climate-related? Beauty reasons? Metamorphosis - It doesn't matter. We will be able to do it sooner or later. Transformation - eternal life - the goal to strive for.

Nach einer kurzfristigen Absage der Sonderschau22, suchte das HESO OK nach einer Alternative. Zehn Wochen vor Beginn der Herbstmesse haben wir mit der Planung der Sonderschau begonnen. Unser Stand wurde pünktlich von Bundesrätin Karin Keller-Sutter eröffnet.
After the special show was canceled at short notice, the HESO OK looked for an alternative. We started planning the special show ten weeks before the start of the autumn trade fair. Our stand was opened on time by Federal Councilor Karin Keller-Sutter.

Projekt „ArtCAMPUS / Campus Attisholz“, Verein BTS
Der Campus war ursprünglich ein „OFF-Space“ an dem sich Kunstschaffende interdisziplinär austauschten. Wir erinnern uns an 2016 – damals beteiligten sich Kunstschaffende aus der Region Solothurn, aus der Schweiz und dem Ausland welche über 3 Monate das Areal der ehemaligen Zellulosefabrik in Attisholz inzenierten.
Dieser Anlass verzeichnete an den 3 Tagen um die 1500 Besucher.
Sehr früh wurden explizit Professoren und Dozenten, welche auch Kunstschaffende sind in diese Prozesse eingeladen. Daraus entstand währen den Jahren ein Interationales Netzwerk, welches sich mit der Entwicklung von Urbaner Kunst im Kontext zum Städtebau auseinander setzten. Dieses Team kuratierte somit die „Kettenereaktion 2019“

“ArtCAMPUS / Campus Attisholz” project, BTS association The campus was originally an “OFF-Space” where artists exchanged ideas on an interdisciplinary basis. We remember 2016 - back then, artists from the Solothurn region, Switzerland and abroad took part and staged the area of the former cellulose factory in Attisholz for over 3 months. This event attracted around 1,500 visitors over the 3 days. Very early on, professors and lecturers who were also artists were explicitly invited into these processes. Over the years, this resulted in an international network that dealt with the development of urban art in the context of urban development. This team curated the “Chain Reaction 2019”
